Thanks for sharing that information! Yes, I can’t imagine what it would feel like to be told that you are mentally unstable. That would put a BIG damper on my day, lol. I looked into the scoring of these tests. The questions about being a forest ranger, plumber, nurse, artist, librarian, man is head of the house, these are gender-assignment questions which judge how feminine/masculine is a person. A lot of the questions that seem trivial are designed to find the wanna-be-crazies who are a little crazy and lie on the test to seem MORE crazy (attention getters). And the repetitive questons are to catch you being inconsistent which indicates lying/exaggerating in either the first half or second half. I was so relieved when I found out I was “within normal limits”!

I love this! I laughed out loud several times while taking the psych evaluation. I think California uses the same questions. I’m going to be a first time GS too, transferring on the 26th or 27th. I’m looking forward to following your journey.
